Pareeksha Bhavan has issued the hall ticket for KTET 2019. The exam is being conducted to evaluate the eligibility of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School classes in state of Kerala. The KTET admit card, aka hall ticket, aka admission ticket is available for download online at ktet.kerala.gov.in.
KTET 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted for category 1 and 2 on November 16, 2019 and for category 3 & 4 on November 24, 2019. The exam timings for category 1 are 10 AM to 12:30 PM, for category 2 are 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, for category 3 are 11 AM to 1:30 PM and for category 4 are 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
To download the KTET hall ticket, candidates have to visit the official website of KTET that is ktet.kerala.gov.in. On the homepage of the official website, click on the hall ticket for KTET November 2019. The login page will appear on the screen. Candidates need to enter their application number, application id, and category to download the same.
Candidates can take print out of admit card preferably in coloured and carry it on the day of the examination. Candidates must also carry a valid id proof such as aadhar card, voter ID, PAN card, driving license, etc along with the hall ticket.
The hall ticket contains the name of candidate, examination center, category chosen, photograph of the candidates, date of examination, timings of the exam, roll number and important instructions. Candidates must check the details present on the hall ticket. If there is any discrepancy, candidates must inform to the examination conducting body immediately.
Kerala Teaching Eligibility Test exam will be conducted in offline mode. The exam is of 2.5 hours duration and consists of 150 multiple choice questions for each category. The question paper will be in bilingual for category 1, 2 & 4 ie. both Malayalam and English (except for language papers). And for Category 3, the medium will be only in English (except for language papers).
The candidates who will be appearing in KTET can note an important tip that they will get 1 minute per question in the examination. Thus, candidates have to maintain a speed of 1 minute per question to complete the exam on the given time period.
After the successful conduction of exam, the conducting body will first release answer key. In the June exam, the exam was on June 22 and 29, whereas the answer key was released on July 18. Therefore this time the answer key is expected around December 13, 2019.
After that Pareeksha Bhavan will declare the result of Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test at the official website. To qualify KTET exam a candidate will have to score a minimum of 60% marks. On the basis of the result candidates will be issued the Teachers Training Certificate (TTC) for teaching positions by Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram on behalf of Govt. of Kerala.
