HP TET 2019 is the state level teacher eligibility test of Himachal Pradesh. After thousands of teaching aspirants appeared in JBT, TGT, LT, Shastri, Punjabi, Urdu papers held in June, HPBOSE, the official exam conducting body, is geared up to release the exam answer key today by evening time.
Exam was held in two sessions on each of the dates June 16, 17, 20, and 23. The information brochure did not mention specific date for issuance of answer key. Nevertheless it was expected in first week of July. However, Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education informed that the key will be released on July 2.
All test takers will be able to download the same from official website of the board that is hpbose.org. It will simply be a downloadable PDF file, not requiring any login credentials. That single file will have set wise answer keys of set A, B, C, D of all TETs.
Cover notice of answer key will contain instructions on how candidates will be able to challenge answer key. Last time HPBOSE had activated a fax number and an email ID for accepting answer key challenges. Whereas exact process of challenging 2019 answer key is not known, it is anticipated to be online.
HPBOSE conducted JBT TET and Shastri TET on June 16, TGT Non Medical TET and Language Teacher TET on June 17, TGT Arts TET and TGT Medical TET on June 20, Punjabi TET and Urdu TET on June 30. Each paper was of 2.5 hours duration, with different syllabi. Besides having different syllabi, conduct of exams have been same. By the same token, issuance of their answer keys as well as declaration of result are all to happen together.
Notification for HP TET June 2019 was released on May 7. Online registration could be done from May 7 to 27. Then two days, May 28 and 29, were given for form corrections. Admit cards were issued 3 days prior to exam.
Once HP TET June 2019 gets over, it is further reported that HP TET November 2019 shall take place. It is expected that November exam will take place on 9, 10, 12, and 17 November.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is the government organization responsible for secondary school education in the state. It was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters in Dharamshala. At present, over 8000 schools are affiliated to it.
HP TET, like other TETs in India, is the qualifying exam for teachers. One needs to get 60% in order to clear it. TET certificate remains valid for a period of 7 years.
