The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has declared the results of the HPSOS 8th, 12th on November 12, 2020. The result has been declared online at hpbose.org for the September exam. Students will need to enter their roll number as mentioned on the admit card to check their HPBOSE SOS results 2020.
In order to check the result for HP SOS 8th, 12th September 2020, students will need to visit the board’s official website. On the homepage of the website, students will need to click on the tab for ‘Results’ on the top of the homepage of the website. Next, the students need to click on the result link for their respective class. After this, in the login screen, candidates have to enter their roll number and click on the ‘search’ button to submit the detail. On submitting the detail, the result for their respective class is displayed on the screen.
For HP SOS 12th September 2020 exam, around 17859 students appeared out of which 9292 students have successfully passed the exam. Also, 6646 students will have to re-appear for the exam. The overall pass percentage for HP Board SOS 12th Sep 2020 exam stood at 52.03%.
In case of HPBOSE SOS class 8th Sep 2020 result, 360 students appeared for the exam. Out of these many students, 220 have passed the exam whereas the result status for around 129 students is re-appear. The overall pass percentage for HP SOS 8th Sep 2020 exam is 61.11 percent which has improved drastically in comparison to the previous year. in the year 2019 for Sep exam, only 95 students appeared out of which 37 students passed and the overall pass percentage was 38.95 percent.
Now, that the result has been announced, students who are not satisfied with their result or wish to get their answer books evaluated can apply for the same buy contacting their concerned study centres. The duly filled application form along with the required amount of fee must be paid before November 27, 2020. The amount for rechecking is Rs. 400 per subject and the amount to pay for re-evaluation is Rs. 500 per subject.
HPSOS is a collaboration initiative between the HP board (HPBOSE) and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). HPSOS 8th, 10th, 12th September results 2020 have been declared for full subject, additional and reappear exams.
