Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has declared the result for the class 10 exam 2021. The result that was supposed to be available in the morning was delayed and has been announced at around 5:30 pm via the press conference. The direct link to check HP 10th result will be soon available at hpbose.org. Students can also check their HPBOSE 10th result via sms.
To check the result, students just need roll number. In the HP Matric result 2021, students will get to check their marks, grade, percentage, result status, division, etc. The steps to check the result of HP class 10th is as follows:
To check HP Board class 10th result 2021 from the board’s official website, students may follow the steps as given below.

1st Step: Visit the official website at hpbose.org.
2nd Step: On the homepage of the website, students need to click on the “Results” tab.
3rd Step: After this, find and click on the HP board matric exam results 2021.
4th Step: In the next screen, students need to log in by entering their roll number and then click on the submit button.
5th Step: Once you submit the details, your result is then available on the screen.

This year the result of the candidates has been prepared based on the first and second term and the marks secured in the pre-board exams, and the internal assessment marks. The HP Board has adopted the same result assessment criteria as CBSE.
This year a total of 1,16,973 students will get their HP Board class 10 result. This year, the exams were cancelled due to the pandemic which was scheduled to be held from April 13 and April 28, 2021. 5:55 pm: Students can appear in the re-examination in August / September
The students who are not satisfied with their class 10 marks can appear for the re-exam on August / September month.
5:40 pm: HPBOSE 2021 result has been declared
HPBSOE 10th result 2021 declared. A total of 99.7% of the total students have passed the examination.
5:35 pm: HO Board class 10 result to be announced shortly
The press meet that was deferred earlier in the morning will start shortly and the link to check the result will be available soon.
11:45 AM – HP Board 10th Result Announcement Postponed
As per the latest news reports, HPBOSE has decided to postpone the announcement of HP 10th result 2021. The board has taken this decision due to a court decision. It is now expected that the result will be out soon.

11:15 AM – HPBOSE Previous Year Pass Percentage
In 2020, 1,04,336 students registered for the class 10th exams and the pass percentage was 68.11%. In the year 2019, 111976 students registered and pass percentage was 60.79%. In the year 2018 and 2017, 109678 and 124441 students registered and the pass percentage was 66.15% and 96.88%, respectively.

In all, 1,31,902 students registered for HPBOSE Class 10 exams. Of these, 1,16,973 are regular students and 14,929 are open school students. Result for all the students will announced today.
10:55 AM – Minimum Qualifying Marks in HP Class 10th
Usually, the minimum qualifying marks in HP 10th is 33%. However, since this year alternative method has been used for calculating the result, the board has not announced the minimum qualifying marks.

10:30 AM – No Facility for Rechecking HP Matric Result 2021
Since the result has been prepared as per alternative method, this time, students will not get the facility to re-check the result. Usually, this facility is provided and via it, students can demand re-checking of the answer script. However, there is no answer script this time. So, there will be no re-checking as well.

10:20 AM – 37 Students in top 10 List in HPBOSE Matric Result 2020
Last year, Himachal Pradesh saw a total of 37 students in top 10 list. Out of the total, 23 were girls and 14 were boys.

Last year, HP 10th result was announced in the month of June and the past percentage was 68.11%. Last to last year, the pass percentage was 60.79%. Hence, there was an improvement in the the number of passed students. It is expected that even this year, pass percentage will go higher.

HPBOSE earlier declared that it will use the same assessment methodology as CBSE. Hence, the ratio of each test for calculating the marks is as follows:

This time, HP Board result has been prepared on the basis of alternative assessment method. The result has been prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the unit test, mid-term test, pre-board exams, and internal assessment.
8:30 AM – HP Board to Pass 100% Students This Year
Since the exams this year were cancelled, HPBOSE has decided to pass all class 10th students this year. The students have already been promoted to class 11 and today the students will get to know their marks.

To check the result, students need to visit the official website, which is hpbose.org. There, students need to click on the result link. On doing so, a login portal will open.
