Today the announcement of JVVNL Helper Recruitment result took an interesting turn when Rajasthan High Court put the stay order on Result of Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) Technical Helper Recruitment Exam. The recruitment exam for Technical Helper was conducted from August 23 to 29, 2018. After that on September 01, 2018 the answer key has also been released by JVVNL.
Point is to be noted that, the recruitment started on July 02, 2018 by releasing application form. Three companies participated in the recruitment drive to hire 2433 Technical Helper. All three Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited i. e. Jaipur VVNL, Ajmer VVNL, and Jodhpur VVNL decided only one examination as the parameter of selection. The exam conducted successfully and the official body also released the answer key. Suddenly this order came and stopped the result.
What is the reason behind the stay order on Result?
As per the Service Rule 1999, the woman candidates should be provided the reservation of 30% in recruitment. And in JVVNL Helper recruitment this rule has been violated. The JVVNL has not follwoed the rule as it has not provided the said relaxation to women.
An applicant named Anupama Chaudhary filed a petition in High Court. The advocate of Anupama, Jai Singh Rathor told the court that “As per the Office Ministry Service Rule 1999 in Rajasthan there must be 30% reservation for women in any recruitment.”
The consequence of the Violation of Rule
Now the Court has put the stay order, as well as the Sanjeev Prakash Sharma the Judge of High Court enquired the Chief Employer Officer of JVVNL and State Government about the matter.
Candidates can expect a delay in result declaration. Now the result announcement has become the issue until any further notice comes in this matter. The candidates have to wait for the result. This is a good news for the female candidates for JVVNL recruitment. But entirely this incident portray the bad impression on JVVNL.
Who will be affected by the order?
All the candidates who have applied for the recruitment (Advertisement No. JVVNL/ Karmik/ Rectt./01/2018-19) will be affected by the HC order. After all this incident candidates can take a sigh of relief when the result will be declared successfully.
