Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited has released an official notification for the recruitment of Director (Production) and Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). Interested candidates can download the official notification for both the posts from HEC website, hecltd.com. Both the posts are on deputation basis. Eligible applicants can submit their application form before September 30, 2020.
The conducting body has not yet specified the number of vacancies available for both the posts. The initial appointment for the posts is on deputation basis for a period of 05 years or till 60 years of the candidate’s age. Those get selected as Director (Production) post gets a monthly salary of Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- and Chairman and Managing Director gets Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,25,000/-.
Applicants intending to apply for the aforementioned posts must meet the specified eligibility criteria. Those who are applying for Chairman and Managing Director post must have a graduation degree with a good academic record. Candidates with Technical/ Management qualification is preferred. To apply for Director post, candidates should be engineering graduate with a good academic record. Preference is given to those who have an MBA/ Post-Graduate Diploma in Management. Candidate’s age should not be more than that of 57 years to apply for both of these posts. The applicant’s age is calculated as on the last date of the submission of application.
Apart from the educational qualification, HEC has also prescribed the minimum work experience required for both the posts. A minimum of 10 years of work experience in Technical/ Operational field is required to apply for Director post. Out of these 10 years, candidates must have served 02 years as Head of any Major Production/ Manufacturing unit. Experience in Equipment Manufacturing and Heavy Machinery is preferred. Applicant should possess adequate experience at a senior level to apply for Chairman and Managing Director post. Experience in Marketing/ Finance/ Production Personnel is preferred.

Applicants have to submit the relevant documents along with the application form.
