Bihar State Co-Operative Marketing Union Limited (BISCOMAUN) is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up 275 vacancies for various posts. The company has issued a detailed recruitment notification in this regard at the official website biscomaun.co.in. BISCOMAUN will conduct written tests and interview for the selection of eligible applicants to fill up posts such as Junior Engineer, Assistant Manager, Computer Operator cum Typist, MTS and others. As per the detailed notification of recruitment, a single vacancy is available for the post of Finance cum Accounts Officer. 20 vacancies are available for the post of Range Officer cum Marketing Officer and while 02 vacancies are available for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil). In addition, there are 02 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager (IT), 10 vacancies for the post of Office Executive cum Assistant and 05 vacancies for the post of Account Assistant. 88 openings are also available for the post of Assistant Godown Manager. 05 vacancies are available for the post of Computer Operator cum Typist and 142 for the post of Salesman Cum MTS. Finance cum Accounts Officer and Assistant Manager (IT) are entitled to receive a consolidated salary of Rs 25000 per month. Similarly, Range Officer cum Marketing Officers are entitled to a salary of Rs 20000/month. The monthly salary for the posts of JE (Civil), Office Executive cum Assistant, and Account Assistant are entitled to a salary of Rs 15000/month. Candidates appointed to the posts of Computer Operator cum Typist and Salesman cum MTS are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 12000.
Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria before applying. Corresponding minimum and maximum age of applicants are indicated against each post. Candidates holding a Diploma in Civil Engineering are eligible to apply for the post of JE (Civil). CA/ICWA/MBA/PGDM Finance qualification holders having at least 03 years of experience are eligible to apply for Finance cum Accounts Officer post. BCA degree holders are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Manager (IT). B.Com degree holders are eligible to apply for the post of Account Assistant. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the other available vacancies. In addition, 12th pass candidates can apply for the posed of Salesman cum MTS.
Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through a written test. The written examination is to be conducted in one phase following which, qualifiers will be selected through interview. 100 marks written exam will be conducted for a duration of 60 minutes for all the posts. The examination will be based on the papers of English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness & Computer Knowledge. There will be provisions for the negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates applying for the post of Office Executive cum Assistant and Computer Operator cum Typist have to qualify through Typing Test before they can appear in the final interview.
The application form is available online and candidates must not send their applications through any other mode. An application fee of Rs 1000 must be paid by all applicants except for SC/ST applicants who must pay a fee of Rs 500 only. PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of fees. The application form can be filled up at the website by entering all the relevant details and uploading supporting documents including scanned photograph and signature as per specifications. Registration number and password generated after successful applications must be noted or printed as admit cards can only be downloaded by logging in with these credentials.
