State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has issued the admit cards for the written test of the recruitment of 597 posts of Sub Inspector (UB). As scheduled, the admit cards can be downloaded from the official website i.e. slprbassam.in starting today. Assam Police SI admit card 2020 can be downloaded by logging in with the application number. Eligible applicants will be able to download the admit card till September 16, 2020. The selection exam is scheduled to be held on September 20, 2020. All applicants are required to carry the admit card to the exam centre on the specified date failing which, they will not be allowed to appear for the test.
In order to download the admit card released through the official website, candidates have to visit the website and navigate their way to the link for downloading the admit card. It must be noted that the admit card is mandatory and can only be downloaded till the specified last date. Therefore, candidates must not waste any time to get their admit card from the website. The admit card can be directly downloaded by logging in with the application ID, phone number or email ID of the registered candidate.
SLPRB Assam advertised vacancies for the post of Sub Inspector (Unarmed Branch) in Assam Police through an official advertisement dated April 11, 2018. Eligible candidates who applied for the recruitment have to appear in the written test for initial selection. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 20, 2020, at centres across the state. However, candidates need the admit card to appear in the exam.
Assam Police SI (UB) Recruitment Admit Card contains information about the date, time and venue of the exam allocated to the concerned candidate. It is mandatory to produce the admit card in order to appear in the exam. In addition, the admit card contains the reporting time for the exam. Candidates must report to the centre well before time. In addition, it is advised to carry a government-issued photo identity card for verification of the candidate’s identity.
The written test is to be conducted on OMR sheets. The test carries 100 marks in total and the paper consist of 100 MCQ type questions. While each correct answer will fetch 01 marks, each wrong answer is liable for the deduction of 1/2 marks as per provisions of negative marking. There are three parts to the question paper viz. Part I comprising of Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, & Comprehension, Part II comprising of Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and Part III comprising of General Knowledge. The maximum duration allowed to take the test is 03 hours and candidates must use black or dark blue ballpoint pens to mark their responses on the OMR sheets.
