Haryana Postal Circle is inviting applications from meritorious sportsperson for the post of Postal Assistant, Postman/Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff. Posts are reserved for sports person only. The conducting body has announced 25 vacancies for Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, 14 vacancies for Postman/ Mail Guard and 19 vacancies for Multi Tasking Staff. Those who wish to know more about the recruitment can download the notification with No. R&E/34-3/2015-2019/Sports Quota. Candidates can submit the application forms for the said posts on or before July 30, 2020. The last date for form submission for candidates who live in a remote area is August 05, 2020.
As the recruitment is under sports quota, candidates must have represented their country/state/university/ state school team in an International or National level sports competition. Those who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Test are eligible for the announced post. Those who are shortlisted for the announced post of Postal Assitant/Sorting Assistant receives Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81100/-, Postman/ Mail Guard gets Rs. 21700 – 69100 and Multi Tasking Staff get Rs. 18000 – Rs. 56900/-.
Apart from sports, candidates must have completed 12th standard from recognized Board to apply for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Postman/Mail guard. Candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized board to apply for Multi taking Staff. Moreover, they should have completed 18 years before applying. The upper age limit for Postal Assistant/ Sorting and Postman/ Mail Guard is 27 years and for Multi Tasking Staff is 25 years as on the last date of the application form submission. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for different categories as per the government rules.
The application process for recruitment is conducted through offline mode. Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility norms can submit their forms through post. They can get access to the application form from indianpost.gov.in and haryanapost.gov.in. The application along with self-attested photocopies of educational certificate and other relevant certification should be submitted to the CPMG, Haryana Circle, Ambala. The envelope should be addressed to The Assistant Director Postal Services (Staff), O/o the Chief Postmaster General, Haryana Circle, 107, The Mail road, Ambala Cantt – 133001.
Along with application form, candidates also have to submit the application fee challan. Aspirants have to pay Rs. 100/- as the application through e-payment in National e-Biller Id 16491 through challan. The challan should be drawn before July 25, 2020, and should be sent to the prescribed address before the last date.
