Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar successfully conducted the GUJCET 2022 exam today. The exam is being conducted in two shifts. The first shift for the day was conducted from 10 am to 12 pm. This shift included questions from Physics and Chemistry. The second shift will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm today. Unofficial answer keys for the first shift have been released by several coaching centers and educators on the streaming platform Youtube. Answer keys for all sets have been uploaded in the format of video-based solution and PDF.

The exam was is being conducted in two parts consisting of two papers. Paper 1 consisted of Physics and Chemistry and was held in the morning shift. This is a general paper and all applicants are required to take the same. The candidates were allotted 120 minutes to complete the section. Each section consisted of 40 questions, 80 in total, carrying 1 mark each.
Paper 2 will consist of questions from Mathematics and Biology and is to be conducted in the afternoon shift. While engineering aspirants will appear for the mathematics paper, medical and pharmacy candidates will appear for the biology paper. The students will be allotted a time of 1 hour to complete the paper.
GUJCET 2022
GUJCET is a common entrance exam that allows admission into undergraduate courses in engineering and pharmacy. It is an objective MCQ-based test that evaluates candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Physics and Chemistry are general subjects and applicable to all. However, the students can choose to appear for mathematics or biology based on their preference and background.
Candidates that qualify the entrance exam will be awarded a merit rank. They can further use this rank to seek admission to various colleges in the state of Gujarat. The aspirant may further have to undergo the counseling procedures as set by the university/ colleges.
