Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gujarat, has released the official answer key for GUJCET 2020. It can be downloaded from the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. If a student has objection in the option marked in the answer key, it can be done until September 1, 2020, till 05:00 PM.
The answer key for GUJCET 2020 is released subject-wise i.e Maths, Physics and Chemistry separately in pdf format. More than 1 lac students appeared for Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2020. They should note that there are 2 types of answer keys i.e provisional and final. While the former can be questioned by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 500 per question, the latter i.e the final GUJCET 2020 answer key has no such provision. The result is prepared on the basis of the final key of GUJCET 2020.
If any candidate finds an error in the provisional GUJCET 2020 answer key, then they need to download the objection form present on the official website. They need to fill in the information like details of question paper code, question number, name of bank, IFSC code and other details in the same. After doing so, they can mail it to [email protected] and submit the form along with the fee. They also need to make sure that they have a proof supporting their claim of objection against the GUJCET answer key. The fee is refunded, if the claim is found to be right.
Candidates can actually use the answer key for GUJCET 2020 to estimate their probable score in the examination. All they need to do is add 1 mark for correct answers and deduct 0.25 marks for any incorrect one. If a candidate has marked multiple responses for just one question, then 0 marks are allotted for that answer.
After the scrutinisation of the provisional answer key of GUJCET 2020, the official authority releases the final answer key. Candidates need to then wait for their results. It is provided in the form of a marksheet. They can download the GUJCET 2020 result by logging in with their 6 digit seat number. The result is prepared by giving weightage to 60% marks obtained in Class 12 and 40% to the score in GUJCET 2020.
The board conducted GUJCET 2020 exam on August 24, 2020, in pen and paper mode. It is a state level entrance exam conducted for admissions in degree and diploma programmes in Engineering and Pharmacy courses amongst the state’s institutes. Initially, Gujarat CET was to be conducted on March 31 for which GSEB had released admit card as well. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the authorities took a decision to postpone the examination.
