Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the results of Gujarat Class 12th on its official website gseb.org. As intimated through an official statement at the board website, the result has been declared for HSC Science stream and only accessible by the schools.
GSEB has provided a helpline number for schools, as 9099971902.
In order to check and download the GSEB 12th result, schools need to enter their school index number and password. Student can get the result from school only. The result of HSC Science is accessible from July 17, 2021 from 8 am onwards. Schools will have to verify all the details given in the result card adjacent to the student. Thereafter, they will have to disburse the marksheet to the students.
The result of over 1.40 lakh students who had registered for the High School Certificate (HSC) Science stream examination 2021 has been declared. The result is prepared on the basis of internal assessment formulated after a policy was drafted by the board. According to the policy, the Class 12th result for 2021 will be declared on class 10th, 11th, and 12th (unit test/Internals) marks weightage.

- Go to the website of Gujarat board result portal, at result.gseb.org.
- Click on the HSC May 2021 Result link .
- Enter school index number and password.
- Press click on submit.
- Results will appear on the screen.
- Verify and relate the results with the data before final download.

The HSC result has been declared for science stream. Out of the total 100 marks, the obtained marks are decided on a weightage of class 10th, 11th, and class 12th. The highest weightage of 50% is given to Class 10th score, followed by 25% each to internal and unit tests of class 11 and 12.

Based on the new policy, a student obtaining a minimum of Grade ‘D’ in all the subjects will be considered ‘passed’ and eligible for the higher studies. Whereas, students with Grade ‘E1’ or Grade ‘E2’ in one or more subjects have to improve their performances through supplementary exams. For students under a differently-abled category (Divyangs), the passing criteria is 20% marks, says Gujarat Board new policy.
Last year, the board declared the class 12th science stream result on May 17. Out of the total registered students, 71.34% students passed the examinations in 2020. Whereas, In 2019, 71.9% of the students had qualified the Class 12 science stream board exams.
Earlier, the class 12th exams were supposed to be held in April this year, which were later canceled due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situations. However, for HSC science stream repeaters the board organized the offline examinations in the month of June. The exams were conducted on selected centres, following the COVID-19 protocols.
