As per the latest developments, registered candidates have received email intimation (see image below) from GITAM indicating that the exam can be taken on any exam date as there is no slot booking process.
As GITAM GAT 2021 starts tomorrow on the website cocubes.in/gat2021, candidates have to follow guidelines provided through the intimation email containing details of assessment link, login credentials for the test and complete instruction and guidelines. In this read, we revisit 05 critical guidelines to follow for taking the GITAM GAT 2021 starting tomorrow.

#1 Assessment Link & Login Details
GITAM is reportedly sending the assessment link and login details of registered candidates for the GITAM Aptitude Test through the registered email address. An email has been received by registered candidates indicating the complete login details for the exam including Application Number, Password and Passkey as well as the direct link to take the test from home starting tomorrow.
#2 There is no slot booking
As per instructions provided by GITAM to candidates registered for the GAT 2021 exam, there is no slot booking required for taking the GAT 2021 test. Candidates are allowed to log in any time on any of the available exam dates from 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM to take the test from their home.
#3 Do not leave your seat or look sideways
After the exam has started, candidates are not allowed to leave their seats for the entire duration of the exam. This is considered a violation of fair means policy and candidates leaving their seats can be disqualified immediately. Similarly, GITAM has clearly indicated that candidates must not look sideways, attempt to peek at textual material on the desk or talk to anyone. All of these activities are considered unfair means and candidates can be disqualified after multiple warnings by the proctor.
#4 Take the test alone
GITAM has clearly established that no other person must be present in the room from where candidates will be taking the test. The presence of any other person is considered as an attempt of using unfair means to pass the test.
#5 Choose a well-lit room
Gandhi Institute has instructed candidates to choose a well-lit room for taking the test. As per the email received by registered candidates for taking the test from their home, candidates are required to have overhead lights if possible. In case, overhead lighting is not available, candidates must ensure that the light source is not behind them. Candidates have been instructed to sit against a wall in the background while taking the test.
#6 Prepare in advance
Lastly, candidates must prepare to take the test in advance as per instructions released by GITAM. The exam can be taken using a computer or a smartphone. However, system compatibility, devices required, internet connectivity etc. must be prepared prior to take the test. GITAM has issued complete guidelines to take the test and candidates are advised to read and adhere to the guidelines strictly.
