Today is the last date to apply online to appear in the upcoming Aptitude Test for admission to Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs offered by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). Also known as GITAM Aptitude Test or simply GITAM GAT, the exam is scheduled to be held for the first phase from May 22 to 26, 2021.
Aspiring candidates who have not yet registered to appear in the admission entrance test are advised to hurry up as the Phase 1 registration window is scheduled to close today i.e. on May 19, 2021. The examination is being held in two phases this year, in the test from home mode. It may be noted that registrations for the admission entrance test can only be done online on the official website i.e. gitam.edu.
How to Register for GITAM GAT 2021?
As stated before, online registrations for the Phase 1 GITAM GAT 2021 exam are ending today. Candidates have to visit the official website to register for the exam is they intend to get admission to a preferred degree course in the current academic year. The entire process to register online is broken down and explained in a step by step manner here below.
Step 1: At first, candidates have to open the website gitam.edu. For this, any compatible internet browser such as Google Chrome, can be used.
Step 2: Now, candidates have to click on the New Registration option to open the registration form.
Step 3: Candidates have to fill up the form by entering details like name, email ID, mobile number correctly.
Step 4: Once done, candidates have to agree to the terms & conditions and click on the Register button to register their account.
How to Apply for GITAM GAT 2021?
Once registered, candidates are furnished with the login details i.e. username and password. One must use these credentials to log in and fill up the GITAM GAT 2021 application form. Only those who apply online by paying the requisite fee after registering are eligible to get the admit card and appear in the exam.

Step 1: Candidates must log in using the Username & Password generated during the registration process.
Step 2: The first step is to update the password after logging in.
Step 3: Now, candidates must start filling up the application form by entering educational details, selection of course etc.
Step 4: Once the application form is correctly filled up, candidates have to pay the application fee. The fee can be paid online at this step.
Step 5: Candidates must proceed to fill up other details on the application form.
Step 6: Once done, candidates have to verify the details and submit the application form.
GITAM GAT 2021 Application Fee
As mentioned, candidates have to deposit an application fee in order to fill up and submit the GITAM GAT 2021 application form. The fee amount, as specified by the Institute is Rs 800 for each course. Candidates may note that the fee is not refundable and can only be paid online using credit/debit card/UPI or internet banking.
