Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is going to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT) 2021 from May 22 to 26, 2021. Authorities shall conduct the test through the take-home-test or online examination format on the specified dates. Moreover, the institute has extended the deadline for GAT 2021 registration. However, the last date is yet to be announced. Interested candidates can still apply for the examination on the official website gitam.edu. By qualifying this exam, candidates can seek admission in a variety of courses pertaining to Engineering, Architecture, Management, Humanities, etc.
GITAM recently released the official dates for GAT 2021 on the official website gitam.edu. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 22 to 26, 2021 through the online format. However, candidates can appear for the exam within the comfort of their homes rather than at allotted centres.
To apply for GAT 2021, candidates have to register on the official website by entering their login credentials like full name, email address, mobile number, etc. They must also decide a suitable password before clicking on the ‘register’ option. Thereafter, they must fill the application form for the preferred course, pay the application fee of Rs.800, upload necessary documents and print-out the confirmation page.
GAT 2021 registration process began on January 04, 2021, and the last date to apply for the exam was March 31, 2021. However, authorities recently decided to extend the registration deadline. They shall soon announce the new date on the official website itself.
GITAM authorities have also announced certain important instructions to be followed during the GAT 2021 examination scheduled next month. Candidates can choose to apply through their laptop, desktop, or mobile application. They must be familiar and accustomed to using the computer before the online examination. The institution shall not take any responsibility in these matters.
The GAT 2021 questions shall be generated from a question bank and each candidate shall receive a different set of questions. An expert committee shall be established to ensure that all questions sets are of equal standard in terms of level, content, and question type, etc. The institution’s decision shall remain final in this particular aspect of the exam.
Candidates can login to appear for GAT 2021 at any comfortable time from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the allotted dates. They are advised to carefully check and understand the syllabus and exam pattern before appearing for the exam. All registered candidates shall receive their login credentials on their registered email ID and mobile number. Candidates can contact the authorities by dialing 8880884000, in case they don’t receive their credentials or face any other issue.
Candidates can choose to appear for GAT 2021 through their android phone. To do so, they must download the “Secure Assessment” application and enter “GAT2021” in the “Enter assessment URL” space. Candidates must note that the specified application shall not be available on IOS devices.
