A notices regarding NEET PG 2021 being deferred is making rounds in social media. The notice, subjected as, “Examination Schedule for NEET-PG 2021 deferred – Regarding” is fake and has not been released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) 2021 will be held as per the dates announced by NBE which is April 18, 2021. NBE has not released any notice for NEET PG 2021 deferred.
The false notice, dates as 05th April 2021, cites National Board of Examination (NBE) and National Medical Commission (NMC). It mentioned three major points, which are:
- NMC has informed that the matter to conduct NEET PG is being considered by the PG board of commission and stakeholder.
- In view of above, NEET PG 2021 has been deferred.
- For queries, contact NBE.
However, students should not fall this. The notice is absolutely fake!

All the official announcements regarding the NEET PG dates are made on the official websites of NBE only. The official website to check the details for NEET PG 2021 is nbe.edu.in.
Recently on April 5, 2021, NBE has released a notice for “extension of final edit window of NEET PG 2021 in view of internet outages in various parts of India”
Following this, NBE re-opened the final edit window to correct image deficiency. The window remains open until April 7, 2021. Candidates can edit their uploaded photo, signature and / or thumb impression during this period.
Then, NEET PG admit card 2021 will be released on April 12, 2021, at nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in. Candidates can download the hall ticket from login. NBE will also send emails and SMS to candidates when admit card is issued.
NEET PG will be a computer-based test, at the centers. All questions will be multiple choice with a single correct answer. There will be 200 questions. The paper will be in English language only. The exam will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration. Candidates will get +4 for the correct answer. Negative marking will be -1 for incorrect answers. No mark for unattempted questions. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
To make the candidates of NEET PG 2021 familiar with the computer-based test, NBE will launch a demo test on April 8, 2021. The demo test will be live at nbe.edu.in. Candidates can take the demo test to familiarise themselves with the computer-based test pattern.
