For the first time in the history of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime, the well known “Pariksha Pe Charcha” will be conducted in the online mode this year. On Monday this week, an official tweet from the PM’s Twitter account confirmed that Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021 will be conducted on April 07, 2021 from 07.00 PM in the evening. Reportedly, the Prime Minister is going to address more than 10 lac students who have enrolled in the event this year, besides numerous parents and teachers. PPC is an annual interaction of the PM with the academic community of the country which is being conducted every year since 2018. However, owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, this years event is going to be conducted online.

An official video was also posted in this regard as a part of the tweet which has confirmed the event date and timing now. As per reports, it was already decided in February 2021 this year that the Pariksha Pe Charcha event will be held online due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Pariksha Pe Charcha was conducted for the first time in 2018 on February 16 at the Talkatora stadium. Now in its third edition, the Prime Minister has indicated that there will be certain revisions to the format. Watching the video on Twitter will clarify that the Minister has referred to the mode of conducting the event when talking to format. Thus, this is the first time that the PPC 2021 is going to be conducted online unlike before. The Prime Minister elaborated in the video saying I have to forego the charm of meeting you in person and have to be with you in a new format.
As per reports from the Ministry of Education, over 10 lakh candidates have registered for the Parkiksha Pe Charcha 2021 campaign. In addition, more than 2.5 lac teachers and more than 90000 parents have also registered to participate in the event virtually.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also confirmed that the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021 interactive session will not be limited to the concept of exam. As per reports, PM Modi will address teachers and parents while also interacting with students in a friendly manner. Thus he was seen urging in the latest Tweeter video that students consider exams as an opportunity rather than an obstacle to get rid of.
