Government General Hospital, under the administrative control of Director of Medical Education, AP, Vijayawada is inviting recruitment applications for various medical and paramedical posts. The recruitment to the post such as Child Psychologist, Staff Nurse, Radiographer, and Pharmacist are to be conducted on a contractual basis. As per the detailed recruitment notification, there is a single vacancy for each of the posts of Child Psychologist and Pharmacist. On the other hand, there are 02 vacancies available for the post of Radiographer. 199 vacancies are available for the post of Staff Nurse. Selected candidates are to be appointed for a fixed-term contract and entitled to receive monthly remuneration. Child Psychologist post holders are entitled to receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 49,520. Candidates appointed to the post of Staff Nurse are entitled to receive fixed month;y remuneration of Rs 34,000. Radiographers are entitled to receive fixed remuneration of Rs 30,660 monthly while Pharmacist post holders are entitled to receive a fixed monthly payment of Rs 28,000.
Applicants must have the minimum educational qualifications prescribed for each post in order to apply. For the post of Child Psychologist, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology. For the post of Staff Nurse, candidates must be B.Sc. Nursing/GNM Nursing qualified & registered with the Nursing Council. Applicants for the post of Radiographer must have passed Intermediate with CRA and have registration with State Paramedical Board. Candidates having D.Pharmacy/B. Pharmacy/M. Pharmacy qualification and registration in Pharmacy Council are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. Relevant experience is required to apply for all the above-mentioned posts.

Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 through Demand Draft. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favor of the Hospital Development Society, Government General Hospital, Srikakulam. Candidates must complete the application form in the prescribed proforma by furnishing all required details and attaching the scanned copies of supporting documents. In addition, one must also sign the application and affix the latest photograph at the designated space on the application form.
