GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for various posts advertised on the official website. As per a detailed recruitment notification published at gbpihed.gov.in, there are 28 vacancies under various projects undertaken by the Institute. All the posts are therefore a temporary basis based on the projects at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the institute. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to send their applications in the prescribed proforma to the email address [email protected] on or before the last date. The last date of receipt of recruitment applications is August 08, 2020, via the specified email. No other means of application are entertained for this purpose.
As per the official recruitment notice, various vacancies have been advertised. There are a total of 28 vacancies under different projects of the Institute. Project-wise vacancy bifurcation and information about corresponding posts such as eligibility conditions pay details and job descriptions are provided in the detailed recruitment notice. 01 System Manager post is available under the project identified as S. No. 1 in the official notice. Similarly, 03 vacancies for the post of Junior Project Fellow are available under the project identified as S. No. 2.
There is a single vacancy for the post of Junior Research Fellow and one for the post of Junior Project Fellow or Project Assistant under the project identified as S. No. 3. 01 vacancies for the post of Technology Associate, 01 vacancies for the post of Master Trainer, and 01 vacancies for the post of Field Assistant are available under the project identified as S. No. 4. 01 vacancy for the post of Research Associate – I, 01 vacancies for the post of Senior Project Fellow, 02 vacancies for the post of Junior Project Fellow, and 02 vacancies for the post of Field Assistant are available under the project titled S. No. 5. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to go through the complete notification to know about the rest of the available vacancies under different projects of the Institute.
Interested candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the specified eligibility conditions in terms of the age limitations, minimum educational qualifications, and age limitations before applying or recruitment. The application format can be downloaded from the aforementioned website. and candidates are allowed to use additional sheets with relevant columns drawn thereon to fill-up the application form. Candidates must also enclose copies of relevant documents as specified in the detailed recruitment notice along with the applications. The selection of eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of the interview which will be held virtually (Audio/Video).
