Gauhati University (GU) has released the result of B.A. (General & Major) 3rd Sem, GU TDC (Science, Arts, & Commerce) Sem 5, GU IDOL Sem 5 Reg (Arts & Commerce), and B.Voc Odd Semester exam held in December 2018. The University had announced B.A., TDC and IDOL Sem today. The result of B.Voc 1st and the 3rd semester was declared on April 10, 2019.
The University has released B.A (Gen. & Major) result online at GUPortal website ie., http://www.guportal.in. The total number of candidate enrolled in B.A. (General and Major) exam is 25522 and 26366 respectively. Candidates qualifying B.A. (General and Major) is 12627 and 19697. GU has released the result in pdf format for B.A programme. The marks will be provided to all the students who appeared for the exam by the university.
Candidates can visit Gauhati University official website ie, http://www.guhati.ac.in to check GU (TDC and IDOL) exam result. While checking TDC and IDOL result students have to provide “Roll Code and Roll Number”. The online grade card/mark sheet can be checked to know the marks secured in the semester exam.
How to Check Gauhati University Result?
Gauhati University annual and end semester examination result can be checked by following a few simple steps. First of all, visit the website http://www.guportal.com and http://www.gauhati.ac.in. Select the Result link available. Click the result links available and provide the necessary details. The result will display.
The Grade Card/Marks Sheet holds the details of total marks, marks obtained Ext+Int, the percentage of marks, paper credit, grade obtained, grade point obtained, honour point and the result (pass/fail).
Candidates appeared for the university annual and end semester exam will be considered to qualify the exam if he/she secure the minimum required qualifying marks. It is important to qualify in both the theory and practical paper (if any) in order to obtain the status as pass. The qualifying candidates will be promoted to the higher semester.
After checking the result if the candidates are satisfied with the marks secured in the exam then they can opt for revaluation of the answer script. A candidate can apply for revaluation only if he/she is considered eligible for it. To apply candidates have to submit the revaluation application form. The application form should be within the 15 days from the day of result declaration. Candidates can select any three paper for re-valuation.
Re-valuation is limited to theory paper only. Students can not apply for practical, dissertation or project papers. The application form Re-valuation is to be submitted to the Principals of respective colleges for onward transmission to the University.
