Gauhati University, Assam has published the exam routine for BA, B.Sc, B.Com students. The Gauhati University exam routine 2019 for 1st, 3rd, 5th semester examinations has been uploaded at gauhati.ac.in. The examination schedule tells the date, day, timings of all the papers, and exam duration.
To download the pdf files of the exam routine, students of Gauhati University can go to gauhati.ac.in. and navigate to the notifications for colleges section. There, they have to click examinations. Then they can either click the top most link with text “Programme for B.A./B.Sc./B.Com 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester Examination, 2019” and then download the pdf files on next page, or on the notifications page, click on the relevant link among “1st exam prog 2019 upload”, “3rd exam prog 2019 upload”, “5th exam prog 2019 upload” under the top most link.
As per the Gauhati University exam routine for 1st semester, exams will start on December 4, and end on December 16. The exam dates are December 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16. The first semester practical examination will be held from December 18 according to the programme to be notified bv the Principal concerned.
Then the 2nd semester exam time table shows that start date of exams is November 20, and end date is December 3. In November, the exam dates are November 20, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. The single exam date in December is December 3. Practical exams for these students will also be from December 18.
In the case of 5th semester students, exams commence on December 4, conclude on December 18. The exam dates happen to be December 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 18. Practical exams for these students shall start on January 18, 2020.
On all the exam dates, there will be two sessions, morning and afternoon. The morning session timings will be 9 am to 12 noon, and afternoon session will be from 1 pm to 4 pm. Moreover, it may be noted that the papers carrying more than 50 marks will be of 3 hours duration. They will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and 1 pm to 4 pm. Whereas the papers for which less than 50 marks are assigned will be of 2 hours. They will be held from 9 am to 11 am, and 1 pm to 3 pm.
