After a long and elaborate schedule of 29 papers, the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2022 is finally over. Today, February 13, 2022, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur conducted the last session of GATE 2022 – a national-level, postgraduate entrance exam in the field of Engineering.
Now that the exam is over, candidates are curious about the official answer key and scorecard. To their delight, IIT Kharagpur has already released the scheduled for all post-exam activities and important events.
GATE 2022 Response Sheet
As per the official schedule, the GATE 2022 candidate’s responses will be made available on the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in on February 15, 2022, onward. Responses will be issued on the same portal which the candidates had used to fill-up the form.
GATE 2022 Official Answer Key
Almost a week later, on February 21, 2022, IIT Kharagpur will release the provisional answer key for GATE exam on February 21, 2022. Candidates will be required to go through this provisional draft and look for any inaccuracies or mistakes. The same need to be reported using the objection facility scheduled to remain open from February 22 to 25, 2022.
IIT Kharagpur will be considering all objections received and incorporate the valid ones into the provisional answer key. After doing so, the GATE 2022 final answer key will be released at a later stage along with result announcement on March 17, 2022. However, there is a small possibility of the final answer key releasing prior to result announcement.
GATE 2022 Result & Scorecard Release
IIT Kharagpur will be announcing the GATE 2022 result on March 17, 2022 via login at GOAPS. So, a candidate will get to know his/her qualifying status, total score and rank. Later on March 21, 2022, individual score card will be issued to each candidate. To download the score card, aspirants will need to access the score card link and enter their login credentials such as Roll Number and Date of Birth. They may choose to download or print a copy of the result for future reference.
Post result announcement, qualified candidates will need to undergo counselling process for admission at IITs and non-IITs. The exact dates for counselling session will be updated later, on the official portal. Candidates will need to register and fill-in their choices to seek admission.
