IIT GATE 2022 exam for Biomedical Engineering paper was concluded today from 9 am to 12 pm. Candidates who appeared for the paper today in the morning shift today shared that the level of the paper was somewhat difficult. This year the convenor for the examination was IIT Kharagpur which is going to conduct the remaining papers on February 06, 12, and 13, 2022. The paper was a mix of conceptual and theoretical questions from all the topics specified in the GATE Biomedical Engineering.
The questions from the biomedical topics dominated the GATE Biomedical Engineering 2022 paper. Whereas, the remaining questions in the examination were from Electrical Circuits, Analog and Digital Electronics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biomechanics, etc. The candidates found the questions to be somewhere tricky and time-consuming. As per teachers too, the candidates who have revised well for the examination and taken up mock tests regularly could easily attempt at least 40 to 45 questions in today’s paper.
GATE 2022 BM paper was held for a duration of 3 hours comprising of two sections, General Aptitude and Engineering paper. The total number of questions asked was 65 out of which 15 were from Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Aptitude, and Spatial Aptitude. Whereas, section B is going to have the remaining 50 questions. This section has 11 questions shall be from Engineering Mathematics, and the rest 39 questions were from the topics notified for the Biomedical Engineering paper. Out of both the papers, the General Aptitude section was a bit on the easier side.
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2022 examination is an annual test conducted by top IITs of the country. This exam is conducted to provide admission to B.Tech students in higher learning programmes such as M.Tech in top IITs and other colleges situated in the country. Other than this, the valid scorecard is also used to apply for the direct recruitment exams released by leading Indian PSUs. As per the date schedule, the result of GATE 2022 is going to be released by March 17, 2022.
