GATE 2019 Registration Without Late Fee Ends Today; Extra Rs. 500 Will Be Charged In The Extended Period

September 21, 2018, i.e. today is the last date to apply for the GATE 2019 exam. The application forms will be available even after today, however, an extra fee will be charged. The extended period in which the applicants can fill and submit the application form is from September 22, 2018, to October 01, 2018. In this extended period, candidates have to apply for GATE 2019 with an extra fee of Rs. 500/-.

At this very moment, it has been noted that the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) and the official website of GATE 2019 – gate.iitm.ac.in is facing trouble to load in one chance. Even candidates are facing delays in OTP receptions. However, GATE official has made it clear that OTP verification can be done even after the submission of the application fees.

Due to a large number of visitors, the GATE 2019 website is having trouble loading. Thus, applicants are advised to stay patient and keep trying after a certain interval.

The Application Forms for GATE 2019 was released on August 31, 2018. The governing authority will open the Application Form Correction Window for GATE 2019 from September 24, 2018. So, candidates who want to rectify something in the application form, can do so as per the prescribed date.

For exam cities in India, female candidates  and SC/ ST/ PwD candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 750/-. Candidates belonging to other category will have to pay Rs 1500. For the candidates belonging to the exam cities in Foreign countries, such as Addis Ababa, Colombo, Dhaka, Kathmandu will have to pay USD 50. Candidates belonging to the countries such as Dubai and Singapore are required to pay USD 100.

There is a golden opportunity for the candidates who have applied for GATE 2019 and have not submitted the application fee, they can submit the fee till October 01, 2018 with an additional amount of Rs 500 to the actual fee. Also, candidates need to have certain documents at the time of filling the application form which includes the Eligibility Certificate, Valid ID Proof, Photograph, Signature etc. Candidates should pay special attention to the specifications to upload the photograph and signature.

In order to fill the GATE 2019 Application Form, candidates need to first register at GOAPS and then after that, will have to choose the examination city and then upload the Personal Details, Communication Details, and Academic Details very carefully. The last process to submit the GATE 2019 Application Form is to submit the Application Fee as without submitting the fee, the candidates will not able to download their GATE 2019 Admit Card.

Candidates must jot this down that the whole process of filling the GATE 2019 Application Form will have to completed and submitted via online mode only. No Application Form should sent to IIT Madras or any other zonal offices. In order to attain the GATE 2019 Admit Card, candidates will have to pay the fee for the Application Form. The admit cards for GATE 2019 will also be available online and it will not be sent to students by post or by any other means.

The Application Form Correction Window is a vital part in the process of submission of GATE 2019 Application Form as this window will remain open for some days and candidates can rectify their names, date of birth, gender, category, details of parent/ guardian/ correspondence address, Roll no., College Name & Location, Registration Number, choice of exam/ city.

The candidates who want to apply for GATE 2019, today is the last chance for them as today is the last date to fill the GATE 2019 Application Form. To apply for GATE 2019, the candidates will have to match the eligibility criteria set by the governing authority.
