Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) is recruiting eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Executive Trainee using GATE 2021 score. An official notification in this regard has also been published on the official website, gailonline.com. As of now, the vacancies for both the disciplines is not yet disclosed. The online registrations for GAIL Executive Trainee 2020 start from February 15, 2021. The last to submit the registration form is March 16, 2021.
The post of Executive Trainee is announced under the Chemical and Instrumentation department. Candidates who are applying for Executive Trainee (Chemical) post, bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Chemical/Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical/ Petrochemical Technology without at least 65% marks are required. Those who wish to apply for Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology in Instrumentation/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics with 65% marks.
Selection of these posts is based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 score. Candidates who will appear in GATE 2021 in Chemical/ Instrumentation discipline can submit their applications. Eligible candidates first have to register themselves for GATE 2021. Based on the GATE 2021 score, candidates are called for the Group Discussion and/or personal discussion.
Candidates are required to apply for GAIL Executive Trainee recruitment through the official website, gailonline.com. For this, they require the GATE registration number. After successful registration, a unique registration number is generated. No separate application fee should be submitted for applying for GAIL recruitment. Moreover, a candidate can apply for only one post/ discipline only. Those applying for more than a post are not considered for recruitment.
It is important to note that candidates have to affix a passport size photograph in the GAIL recruitment application should be same that of GATE 2021 application form. In case, applicants are called for Group discussion or Interview they have to carry the original GATE 2021 admit card, GATE 2021 scorecard, a printout of the application form. Along with this, they should also carry the date of birth proof, educational qualification documents and certificates, experience certificates, caste certificate, NOC and others are specified.
After the application submission is over candidates can check the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview/ group discussion on GAIL website. As of now, the dates for Group discussion/ interview is not yet out. On the commencement of the selection procedure, the final result will also be published on GAIL website. Candidates are also advised to visit the official website regularly to keep themselves updated with the new recruitment updates.
