Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) successfully conducted the Food Safety Officer (FSO) recruitment 2019 exam on November 25, 2019, from 9 am to 12 noon. Since then, candidates who appeared in the exam have been looking for the exam’s answer keys.
The commission is expected to release the answer keys in 2-3 weeks , around the mid of December. However as of now, unofficial answer keys are available.
Unofficial answer keys, which are basically solutions of the paper by anyone besides the exam conducting body, are mostly available online on social media platforms. They have been compiled by either individuals, or coaching centers. Individuals such as previously qualified RPSC aspirants, or teachers who train government job aspirants, and institutes that give classes to government job aspirants published FSO answer key 2019 after exam.
Candidates who appeared in the exam are primarily able to get FSO answer key 2019 now in two ways. First is by searching for them on community driven social media platforms like youtube and facebook. There, coaching centres, teachers have published questions-answers, or answer key images.
The other source of solved papers is government job aspirants groups or study groups in whatsapp, telegram or such platforms. On these places, candidates are discussing the questions that appeared in the exam, their answers, and solutions.
However the usefulness of unofficial answer keys is limited upto letting candidates get a rough idea of answers. These will not have any role to play in actual evaluation of the papers.
RPSC will ultimately release the official answer keys of FSO exam at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Going the past records, RPSC usually releases answer keys 21-24 days after exam, as per which it is being predicted that FSO answer key 2019 will be available around mid-December.
When they are released, there will also be the option to submit objections against them, in online mode, against a minimum fee. Then on the basis of objections received, RPSC will compile a final answer key and as per it, marks will be calculated for results.
RPSC FSO recruitment 2019 is for a total of 98 vacancies. There are 35 vacancies for general, 18 for BC, 4 for MBC, 8 for EWS, 14 for SC, 10 for ST, and 9 for TSP region candidates. For this recruitment, RPSC issued notification and online forms on August 9, 2019, and accepted applications until September 8, 2019. Admit card for FSO exam was issued on November 20, 2019.
The exam was of 3 hours, with all objective type questions. There were 150 questions of 150 marks; all questions were of equal marks. There was negative marking in the exam.
Food Safety Officer post will be filled in the Medical and Health Services Department. This post is eligible for level 11 of the pay matrix, with grade pay Rs 4200.
