FCI Result

Food Corporation Of India (FCI) is currently doing recruitment for 4103 vacancies of AG III, AG II, JE, Steno, Typist. Phase 1 of the recruitment exam was held as computer based test in May-June. While all test takers had been waiting for the FCI Result 2019 phase 1 to come, they stumbled across something perplexing yesterday.

To put it simply, upon checking source code of the official website that is recruitmentfci.in, a line “To Check result of Phase-| click on the Zones given below.” can be seen. Also, on North Zone page, source code reveals a sentence “Result of Phase-|(in reference to Advt. No. 01/2019-FCI-Categoty III)”. Another interesting thing is this link https://www.recruitmentfci.in/recruitment_result.php?zone=bEtFRXM3VXZYdk1tRVFnZE5jZnNjZz09 which seemingly leads to North zone result of FCI.

To elaborate it, this is what is happening. When anyone accesses any website, they can access its source code using web browser.

Step 1: Open recruitmentfci.in. This opens the official website of FCI recruitment 2019.

Step 2: If you are on desktop, right click and select inspect element. If on mobile device, simply write view-source: before the url.

Step 3: Scroll down, or search for “result”. This is what you see.

You can repeat these steps on north zone page and see above-mentioned phrase pertaining to result. Since there is no pre-defined date for FCI Result 2019, candidates who had appeared in exam have been tracking the website using tools such as web trackers. Trackers usually send an update to user whenever there is any code change on the website, and apparently this is what happened yesterday; and with social media, it doesn’t take too long for any news to spread.

As regards the link of result mentioned above, there is no pin-pointed source of how that came to being. As of now, result of FCI 2019 recruitment is definitely not available. Needless to say however that phones of Food Corporation of India hasn’t stopped ringing since this has happened.

While most candidates have come to terms with the fact that result is awaited, many are confused and believe that result is out and only they are not able to see it. The latter largely believe in FCI result 2019 released statement since several blogs, youtube channels, social media accounts have claimed so.

Insofar, FCI Result 2019 is looked forward to be released very soon. Candidates will be able to see zone wise lists. Those who get selected will be able to appear in Phase II. Phase II involves Papers I, II, III, IV. However not all papers will be for everyone. Candidates will take papers as per their choice of posts.

Junior Engineer applicants will appear in Paper I and II, Steno Grade II candidates will appear in Paper V. Assistant Grade II aspirants will go for Papers III and IV, and Typist candidates will take Paper III. Assistant Grade III General candidates will appear in Paper I, Assistant Grade III Accounts and Technical candidates will go for Paper I and II, and Assistant Grade III Depot candidates will go for Paper I.

FCI had conducted phase I exam from May 31, 2019, to June 3, 2019. Around 61545 candidates are being shortlisted for phase II on basis of FCI Result 2019 of phase I. Number of vacancies zone wise are: North Zone – 1999, South Zone – 540, East Zone – 538, West Zone – 735, North-East Zone – 291.
