Food Corporation of India (FCI) is conducting recruitment for category II (2), for managers. The recruitment is for a total of 330 vacancies. After accepting applications from all corners of the nation until almost the end of last month, the corporation is all set to conduct FCI manager recruitment 2019 exam on November 28, 2019.
The corporation has further officially announced that the admit card for the exam will be made available for download 10 days prior to the exam. Thus, November 18, 2019 is the date on which those who have applied for the recruitment can visit the official website to download their admit cards.
Whereas the official website of FCI is fci.gov.in, the links to download call letter, zone wise, will be available at recruitmentfci.in. In order to download admit card, applicants shall have to login with their registration number or roll number, and password or date of birth. The admit card will contain details of exam date, shift, timings, center, besides details specific to the candidate, as uploaded by him or her in the application form.
The exam scheduled for the last Thursday of the month, will be a computer based test. It will be of 60 minutes, that is 1 hour duration. It will be held in four shifts, wherein each shift will have a different set of questions.
There will be three sections in the test, each will have sectional timings. First section will be english language with 30 questions of 30 marks. Second will be reasoning ability with 35 questions of 35 marks. Then third will be numerical aptitude with 35 questions of 35 marks. Each of the sections will be 20 minutes long. Ergo, in the first section one will get only 40 seconds per question, and only 34-35 seconds per question in the other two.
The first section will have questions in english language only, whereas the other two will have bilingual questions.
All the questions will be objective type. Candidates will get 1 mark for correct answer. Whereas ¼ mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. No mark will either be awarded nor deducted for unattempted questions.
This exam is the phase I exam of FCI manager recruitment 2019-2020. Marks obtained in it will only be used to shortlist candidates for the next rounds; its marks will not be counted towards the final merit.
FCI has also conveyed that those who will not be able to get their admit cards need to submit their grievance through cgrs.ibps.in at least one week before the exam.
Post of manager in various departments shall be filled, in north, south, west, east, north east zones, through the FCI manager recruitment 2019 against advertisement No.2/2019-FCI category II. The zones respectively have 187, 65, 15, 37, and 26 vacancies. Managerial posts are in general, depot, movement, accounts, technical, civil engineering, electrical mechanical engineering, hindi departments in the Food Corporation of India.
