Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the notifications for recruitment to the post of Stenographer (Steno.), Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) earlier on December 28. 2021. A total of 3865 vacancies have been announced by the corporation to select candidates across the country. Out of which, a total of 1736 vacancies have been announced for the post of UDC across the country. Interested applicants can find the state-wise vacancy division on the official website of ESIC at esic.nic.in. Registration for ESIC UDC is scheduled to commence on January 15, 2022, and conclude on February 15, 2022.
Exam dates for the post of UDC along with the other two post’s have not been released yet. However, applicants can expect the exams to be conducted in March 2022. Accordingly, candidates must complete their preparation and get themselves exam-ready. ESIC conducts UDC in three important phases namely- Prelims, Mains, and the Computer Skills Test.
Syllabus for the ESIC UDC exam includes General Intelligence, General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension in the preliminary and main exam phases. Meanwhile, the computer skill test includes the test of a candidate’s efficiency with PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel.
With around 3 months left for the exam, applicants must complete their preparation and start revising for the exam. ESIC is a legal body that falls under the responsibility of the Ministry for Labor and Employment, Government of India. Applicants will be chosen through an immediate enrollment process consistently for different districts.
