The application process for the ESIC recruitment will begin from January 15, 2022 onwards. Applicants must go through the region-specific notifications to know the details. The exam dates will be intimated in due time.
The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released an official notification for recruiting over 3000 upper division clerks (UDC), stenographers (Steno), and multi-tasking staff (MTS). This recruitment will take across 28 regions including Delhi. Interested candidates can access the official notification from the ESIC website – esic.nic.in. This recruitment is for the class 10 pass, class 12 pass, and graduate candidates. The application process will commence on January 15, 2022.
Salary
As per the ESIC UDC notification, the pay level for UDC and Steno is 4, i.e. between Rs 25,500 and Rs 81,100 according to the 7th Central Pay Commission. On the other hand, the MTS pay level is 1, i.e. between Rs 18,000 and Rs 56,900.
Last Date
Candidates will be able to submit online applications from January 15, 2022, onwards. However, the last date is February 15, 2022. All applications have to be submitted via esic.nic.in.
Cut Off
ESIC will fix qualifying marks for each post. Moreover, the examination pattern for each of them is different. The first stage of examination for UDC and MTS is the preliminary round in which the candidates have to obtain the qualifying marks. These marks will not be counted for the final calculation of merit. On the other hand, for Steno, the selection will start with the phase I main examination. However, the category-wise qualifying marks vary. Candidates can check the same from the region-wise official notifications.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for these posts must note that there are different eligibility criteria in terms of qualification. The educational qualifications for all three posts are given below.
- UDC – The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university and must possess working knowledge of computer including office suites and databases.
- Steno – Applicants must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Then, there will be skill test which includes dictation and transcription.
- MTS – The applying candidate must have passed matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit
In terms of age limit, the candidate has to be between 18 to 27 years if they are applying for the post of UDC and Steno. For MTS, the age limit has been kept as between 18 to 25 years. Both upper and lower limits in age will be as per the closing date for receipt of applications, i.e. February 15, 2022. However, there is category-wise age relaxation as well. SC and ST category candidates will get 05 years of relaxation while the OBC category will get 03 years. For PWD, the relaxation varies from 10 to 15 years.
