The Delhi University will release the DU UG application form 2021 on August 02, 2021, on the official portal of DU i.e. du.ac.in. The candidates who possess the relevant eligibility for the UG programmes can apply for the same till August 31, 2021. The selection of the candidates for admission will be as per the selection process decided by the University. Although the University has opened the portals for the PG and PhD admissions, the application portal for UG admission is yet awaited by the candidates.
As per the official sources, the portal for the UG Admission is expected to go live by 3 PM on August 02, 2021. For the 2021-2022 session, Delhi University is expected to fill 70,000 seats in the UG programmes of different colleges.
The basic eligibility criteria for the candidates willing to apply for the DU UG admission is clearing the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream. The admission of candidates in any of the courses will be done on the basis of the selection process as decided by the University.
How to apply for DU UG Admission 2021
The candidates can follow the steps given below to register themselves for the DU UG Admission 2021:
Step 1: The candidates should begin by visiting the official website of Delhi University i.e. du.ac.in.
Step 2: On reaching the homepage, the candidates are required to find the link to UG Admission 2021 and click on the same. Upon clicking, the candidates will land on the UG Admission portal wherein they are required to find the direct link to the UG Application form.
Step 3: Thereafter, the candidates have to enter their Full Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc s and hit the sign up button to register themselves.
Step 4: Upon successfully submitting the required information, the candidates will be able to generate a Username and Password. The candidates are then required to click on the candidate login button and enter the generated credentials along with the OTP to fill the DU UG application form.
Step 5: In the next steps, the candidates have to upload their scanned passport size photograph, signature, and final mark sheet of the last qualifying exam. The required file size of photograph and signature is 50kb. Along with this, the candidates are also required to enter the details available on the valid id proof and submit the same.
Step 6: Upon successful submission, the application form will open wherein the candidates have to mention their Parent’s name, date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Gender, Religion, category, permanent and correspondence address, educational qualification, programme the candidate wishes to apply to, etc.
Step 6: Post this, the candidate has to move to the next step i.e. paying the application fee online The candidate may choose to pay the application fee using any of the online methods i.e. Debit/Credit or Net banking.
Step 7: In the end, the candidates should save a copy of the duly filled application form for future reference.
