DU 5th Cut Off 2021 Released; Seats Open Up In Aryabhatta, LSR, Ramjas and Several More

The admission process against the fifth cut-off list has already started. The last date for the same is tomorrow.

The University of Delhi has released the fifth cut-off list for undergraduate admissions on Monday. Students desiring admission can now check the cut-off list from the official website of DU – du.ac.in. The lists have been released separately for Arts & Commerce, Science and BA Program. Along with these, two corrigenda for Janki Devi Memorial College and Sri Venkateswara College each have been uploaded. The admission process based on the fifth cut-off has started from 10:00 AM of November 09, 2021, and will continue till 11:59 PM of November 10, 2021.

Colleges like Aryabhatta College, Ramjas College, Lady Shri Ram College, and others are seen to have vacant seats for most of the courses. At Aryabhatta College, admissions have been reopened for BA (Hons) courses for History for the UR category candidates. On the other hand, Political Science (Hons) and B.Com courses have vacant seats for the OBC category. Similarly, B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science and BA Programme have seats available for the SC and EWS categories, respectively.  

Likewise, the cut-off for B.Com (Hons) at Ramjas College stands at 97.75%. The cut-offs for BA (Hons) courses like History is at 96.75%, Hindi at 91.25%, English at 97%, and Economics at 98.25%.

Similarly, cut-offs at Lady Shri Ram College for BA (Hons) courses are at 98.50% for English, 97% for Philosophy. Journalism saw a decrease of 0.50% in the cut-off as it now stands at 98.50%. For other colleges like Miranda House, the cut-off for BA (Hons) courses for History is at 98.75% and Sociology at 97.75%. At Kirori Mal College the cut-off stands at 98.25% for Economics, 97.25% for English, and 97.25% for History.

Step 1- Visit the website of DU – du.ac.in

Step 2- Click on ‘Fifth Cut-Off List 2021-2022’ in the slider section right below the carousel.

Step 3- Scroll down the page and click on the link for either of the major streams to open the PDF

Step 4- The PDF lists the cut-offs of all the subjects for all the colleges. Check accordingly.

As per official data, more than 60,000 students have already sought admission to the various colleges and courses based on the first three cut-off lists. There are around 70,000 seats available in the university for which 1.70 lakh applications have been received. In case seats remain vacant even after the fifth cut-off list, then a special drive is likely to be carried out.
