CBSE Term 1 Exam center

CBSE has released an official notice on its official website, cbse.nic.in, citing the date and timing for making changes in the exam city, and country before the Term 1 exam begins. This facility has been provided only to those candidates who are currently staying in other exam cities or centres owing to Covid related reasons. The changes as requested by the candidates regarding the exam centre will be reflected in their respective admit cards.

Only those candidates who are not staying in the same city as that of their school have to inform the changes requested before the school by November 10, 2021, till midnight. The candidates will be required to draft an email with the changes they wish to make and send it to the school’s email id.

Once the candidates are done with placing changes requests, the schools have to make a list of all the requests received and then upload all the changes by November 12, 2021, on the official portal.

CBSE Term 1 exam for classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to be held from November 17 and November 16, 2021. The admit cards are expected to release in the upcoming days. Earlier, the board had released a specimen copy of the OMR sheet that shall be used to take up the examination this year onwards.

Candidates must note that the changes in the exam city or centre can be done only once and they have to mention the city or country name while submitting the request. The schools have to download the CBSE Term 1 admit card with necessary changes from the official website only and then distribute it to the students.

Other than this, it must be noted that candidates are allowed to request a change in the exam centre city or country for either theory exam, practical exam, or both. Also, the exam center chosen to take up the exam has to be the same for both the Theory or Practical examinations.

The board has also mentioned that if the candidates seek a request for changing the exam centre only for the theory exam then they will be asked to appear for the practical exam from his school. Although the official will try their best to assign the exam centre in the city requested by the candidate. However, if the same cannot be done citing any cause then they shall be allotted an exam center in the neighbouring city.
