District Recruitment Bureau, Ramanathapuram is inviting offline applications for recruitment into 40 Salesman posts in Fair Price Shops. A detailed recruitment notice (No. 04/2020) is published in this regard at the official website i.e. drbramnad.net. The last date of receipt of offline applications is July 31, 2020. Candidates who have attained the age of 18 years are eligible to apply for the recruitment. The specified upper age limit if 32 years. However, relaxations on the upper age are applicable for candidates belonging from special reserved categories. In addition, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognized board or institution. It is also mandatory for all applicants to have proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in the Tamil language. Those who comply with such eligibility conditions can proceed to apply.
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in an interview. Call letters for the interview are to be sent to shortlisted candidates through the post at the address mentioned in the application form. Those who are shortlisted finally, are appointed to the post of Salesman at a pay scale of Rs 4300 – 12000.
Candidates can complete the application form as per the prescribed proforma and sign it before sending it. Care should be taken to ensure that any incorrect information is not included in the application form. A fee of Rs 150 must be paid as an application fee. The application fee must be paid as a demand draft drawn in favor of the District Recruitment Bureau, Ramanathapuram. Once paid, the fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates must include copies of necessary documents including proof of age, educational qualifications, and other testimonials. In addition, a self-addressed envelope of the size 24x10cm must also be enclosed with a postage stamp of Rs 27, affixed to it.
