District Medical and Health Officer, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Staff Nurse, Lab Technician & Pharmacist. Under the notification number 03/2020, DM&HO, Nellore has announced a total of 164 vacancies for the aforementioned posts. The details of the vacancies, eligibility and other aspects of the recruitment are available in the detailed notification that can be downloaded from spsnellore.ap.gov.in/notice/recruitment. Candidates who are shortlisted for the announced posts are offered a monthly salary of Rs.34,000/- for Staff Nurse and Rs. 28,000/- for Lab Technician & Pharmacist. Applications are invited from June 23, 2020, onwards in the prescribed proforma. Candidates can submit their applications on or before the last date of the submission which is July 22, 2020.
The application form for the announced posts is available along with the recruitment notification. Aspirants have to take a print out of the same and send it to the office of District Medical & Health Officer, Nellore within the working days. Candidates who belong to OC/BC category have to pay Rs.500/- whereas SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.300/- as the application fee. The prescribed application fee should be submitted through demand draft from any Nationalized Bank, in favour of DM&HO, Nellore.
The filled-in application should be submitted along with the demand draft and certain documents. The candidates have to submit their 10th mark sheet, 10+2 mark sheet, qualifying exam pass certificate and mark sheet, registration and renewal certificates, internship certificate, caste certificate, study certificate from 4th class to 10th Class, PH certificate, Sports certificate wherever applicable, relevant certificates in support of Ex-serviceman quota, copy of appointment order and service certificate for an in-service candidate, one photograph duly pasted on the form.
In order to apply, candidates should possess the required qualification for the post. To apply for the post of Staff Nurse, aspirants must have attained GNM/ B.Sc Nursing from Government recognized university. For the post of Lab Technician Grade-II, a DMLT /B.Sc MLT/Inter Vocational MLT with one-year Apprenticeship is required and Diploma in Pharmacy from the Govt is required to apply for Pharmacist Grade-II.
The selection to the announced posts is purely on the basis of the merit. The procedure is organized for a total of 100 marks in which marks are allotted based on their educational qualification and experience. Out of the 100 marks, 75 marks are allotted to the qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed a minimum of 03 years of service in government contract or outsourcing are granted 15% marks. The aspirants are shortlisted for the post of Staff Nurse, Lab Technician & Pharmacist on a contractual basis.
