DGCA Hiring 40 Flight Operations Inspectors, Submit Applications Before Sept 25, Details @dgca.gov.in

DGCA is looking for candidates for the vacant posts of Flight Operations Inspectors (FOIs) in contractual basis.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation, an authorised organization that conducts pilot training exam in India, is recruiting candidates for the post of Flight Operations Inspectors. In total 40 vacancies are advertised for the said posts. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through offline mode latest by September 25, 2020. The details for the recruitment is recently published through vacancy circular on the website, dgca.gov.in.

The vacancies that DGCA has announced are tentative in nature. The number may increase or decrease in sometime later in the future. Out of the total announced vacancies, 03 are announced for Dy. Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), 05 are out for Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane), 29 for Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) and 03 for Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter).

All the aforementioned posts are on contractual basis. The service period for the selected candidates is for 01 years or till the incumbent reaches the age of 65 years. The contractual period is also subject to extension till the time posts are filled up on regular basis. These shortlisted candidates will be posted at DGCA (headquarters) or any regional office of DGCA.

During their tenure, Dy. Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) gets Rs. 7,15,100/- per month, Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) receives Rs. 6,13,500/-, Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) get Rs. 4,22,800/- and Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) get Rs. 2,50,800/- per month.

For the eligibility, the basic requirement to apply for any of these posts is that candidates should have passed 10+2 standard with Science stream. In addition, they should have an Airline Transport License/ Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA with Current pilot-in-command rating on civil air transport aircraft/ helicopter. Other than the essential qualification, DGCA has also discussed the desirable qualification for the posts. Candidates who possess Graduation in Science with Physics and Maths as subjects can apply.

The application form proforma is available within the notification on the official website, dgca.gov.in. Eligible candidates have to tick against the post they are applying for in the form. In case, an applicant is eligible for more than one post, then they can apply for the same. However, separate applications should be submitted for each post. Moreover, it is mandatory to mark the preference fo the posting once a candidate gets selected.

The filled application form should be sent to Recruitment Cell, A Block, Directorate General Civil Aviation, Opposite Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi – 110003. Along with the form, candidates have to submit 10 class certificate, 10+2 certificate, license ATPL, update log book showing the last date of flying, latest medical assessment, the validity of instrument rating, the validity of pilot proficiency and others as specified in the notification.
