A latest recruitment notification has released at the official recruitment website of India Post i.e. appost.in. The notification is to fill up 233 latest job openings for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak in the Delhi Circle. Interested candidates can check out the notification online at the aforementioned website for the complete details of the recruitment. Applications for this recruitment can be submitted online at the aforementioned website from January 27 to February 26, 2021. Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as specified in the notification before applying for the recruitment.
As per the notification issued by India Post, the vacancies are available for three main types of job profile i.e. Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. Candidates are advised to check out the details of each job profile in the notification. Appointed candidates are to be paid Time Related Continuity Allowance as per provisions indicated in the recruitment notification. For the post of BPM, minimum TRCA for 4 hours in Level 1 is Rs 12000 and for 5 hours in Level 2 is Rs 14500. Likewise, for ABPM and Dak Sevak posts, the minimum TRCA for 4 hours in Level 1 is Rs 10000 and for 5 hours in Level 2 is Rs 12000.
Applicants must fulfil the specified minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the advertised job openings in India Post. In terms of age, it has been indicated that applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to apply. The upper age limit is also fixed at 40 years as on January 27, 2021. However, candidates belonging to special reserved categories can avail relaxations on the upper age limit as per provisions of the India government indicated in the notification.
Applicants are required to have passed Class 10th exam along with passing marks in the subjects of Mathematics, English and Local Language. Applicants must have studied the Local Language as a subject at least till Class 10 in order to apply for this recruitment. An application fee of Rs 100 is chargeable for submitting the applications. Candidates SC/ST and PWD categories are exempted from the payment of any application fee. It may be noted that the fee can only be remitted online using the options of debit/credit card or internet banking.
