Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is going to commence the CUSAT CAT 2022 registration from tomorrow, February 08, 2022. Candidates who wish to get admission in any of the UG/PG courses can use the official website, cusat.ac.in to register for the exam. As of now, the conducting body has not announced the examination date for any of the UG, PG courses.
The eligibility for the CUSAT CAT UG programme is completing class 10+2 with 60% marks from a recognized board. Whereas, the same for the CUSAT CAT PG programme is completing graduation in any of the prescribed courses with minimum marks. As per the prospectus, the candidates shall be given admission to B.Tech, BA LLB, M.Tech, or Vocational courses by appearing in the CAT (Common Admission Test).

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUSAT, cusat.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, find the registration form of CUSAT CAT 2022.
Step 3: Enter all the details as asked on the application form i.e. personal details, academic details, preferred course, test center cities, upload documents in the prescribed format, etc., and move to the payment section.
Step 4: Pay the application fee as prescribed for a particular category by the university and submit the application form.

The prescribed size limit for scanned photograph and signature is 500 kb and 100 kb respectively. The application fee for those who belong to Kerala state is INR 500 for at least 2 test codes. Whereas, the same for those who are an NRI or do not belong to Kerala is INR 1000 for at least 2 test codes.
The university has prescribed the exam pattern for both the UG and PG courses separately and it is going to be a CBT. The CAT UG exam is going to have 250 questions, having 125 questions from Mathematics, 75 questions from Physics, and 50 questions from the Chemistry section. The examination shall be held for 180 minutes and each subject is going to have a sectional timing.
