Today, May 31, 2022, is the last date to register or make changes in the CUET 2022 application form. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the UG entrance exam till 9:00 pm, on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. The same deadline is applicable for successfully registered candidates to make changes in their application form. Beyond this deadline, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will neither be accepting any new applicant nor allowing changes in the credentials.
As of now, the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 is all set to be conducted in the first or second week of July 2022. Test will be held in the computer-based format, at selected centres across the country.
Extension in CUET 2022 registration deadline
Initially, NTA began the CUET 2022 registration on April 06, 2022, through the online mode. Candidates could access and fill-up the online form till May 06, 2022, up to 5:00 pm. Similarly, the deadline for successful transaction of application fee was May 06, 2022, up to 11:50 pm.
On the multiple requests by students however, the CUET 2022 registration deadline was extended twice and shall finally end today, at 9:00 pm. The same deadline will be applicable for the correction facility provided to successfully registered applicants. Reiterating this information, the official website mentions the following statement –

CUET 2022 eligibility revised by universities
After the commencement of CUET 2022 registration, certain universities/private institutes (PIs) revised their eligibility criteria and mapping of courses. Some institutes have also dropped a few courses which they were initially, set to offer.
In light of these changes, candidates have benn advised to re-visit the university’s website to understand these changes.Accordingly, they must make changes in their CUET 2022 registration form, particularly in the “Tests” section.
CUET 2022 dates & exam events
Once the CUET 2022 registration process ends, those who have successfully applied for the entrance exam must wait for a word on two important exam events – 1. Admit card release date and 2. Examination dates. As of now, both aspects remain a mystery with only a tentative imeline given for the latter.
The CUET 2022 entrance exam will be held through the online mode in two slots – 1. Slot 1 from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm (3 hours and 15 minutes) and 2. Slot 2 from 3:00 pm to 6:45 pm (3 hours and 45 minutes). The allotted slot timing, exam date and centre details shall be notified in the admit card.
