CTET 2021 Correction Window

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently in the process of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 registration process. The last date to register for the exam is October 19, 2021. Furthermore, the last date to pay the application fee through the online mode is October 20, 2021, till 3:30 pm. Filling an online application is always stressful, especially if it’s for a national-level competitive exam like CTET 2021. Candidates are bound to make mistakes in their application. Keeping this thought in mind, CBSE is going to provide a correction window from October 22 to 28, 2021. This correction window will be made available on the official website ctet.nic.in.

According to the official website of CTET 2021 i.e., ctet.nic.in, candidates will receive a week’s time to correct their online application form. After submitting the form, candidates will not be able to make any changes in the particulars till the correction window opens. Candidates are advised to carefully make changes in their forms as no further correction requests will be entertained by authorities post October 28, 2021.

While the CTET 2021 correction window is, of course, a relief to aspirants, there is a catch. Only a few categories in the form can be rectified. They are as follows –

# Candidate’s name

# Father’s/Mother’s name

# Date of Birth

# Category

# Disability Status

# Paper opted i.e., paper I or paper II

# Subject of paper II

# First choice for exam centre

# Language I or II opted

# Address Details

# Education details

Additionally, candidates must note that CBSE authorities will not accept any further correction requests beyond the stipulated period. Apart from the above-mentioned categories, candidates will not be permitted to make changes in any other particulars. This correction window shall be accessible ONLY through the online mode. Hence, candidates are instructed to not communicate any changes to CBSE via offline format. Furthermore, the CTET 2021 fee once paid, will not be refunded or remitted under any circumstances.

An important point to note is that the CTET 2021 admit card will contain the same information as mentioned in the application form. Hence, candidates must bear in mind to enter all details carefully so that they remain correct and authentic. In simple terms, while the correction facility is available, it’s always better to fill-up the form correctly at the first instance. While the registration process is going to end on October 19, 2021, candidates still have a few days to revisit their application before finally submitting it.
