When will CBSE release official answer key?
CBSE is expected to release the answer key of CTET Dec 2019 exam between December 23 to 28, 2019. Although the board has not published the exact dates, this timeline is being predicted on the basis of previous CTET exams.
As per records, CBSE had released the CTET answer key, 17 days after the exam for CTET July 2019, 19 days after CTET December 2018. Thus, a gap of 2-3 weeks is highly likely between the conduct of exam, and issuance of official answer keys.
As soon as CBSE releases the answer key, it will be available at ctet.nic.in along wit candidate OMR sheets. Moreover, candidates will be able to challenge the official answer key in a given deadline.
Using the answer keys, official or otherwise, candidates can predict their marks. For every correct answer against the answer key, candidates get 1 mark. There is no negative marking in CTET and thus no marks are deducted for incorrect answer.
Only those who score at least 60%, that is they get 90 marks out of 150, will be declared as qualified.
Result will be declared by February 2, 2020.
While candidates have already started looking for the date of next CTET, CTET 2020, there is as of now no official announcement on it. Date of CTET 2020 is most likely to be announced only after the result of CTET December 2019 is declared. Notification regarding the same can come either at cbse.nic.in or ctet.nic.in.
