CTET 2018 Answer Key Available For Paper 1 And Paper 2; Check Here For Set I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P

CTET 2018 Answer Key Released

Central Teacher Eligibility Test, popularly known as CTET was conducted today on December 09, 2018 and the CTET 2018 Answer Keys for Paper 2 and Paper 1 is now available. The name of the CTET 2018 Paper 2 sets was M, N, O and P and for Paper 1 was I, J, K and L. The CTET 2018 paper 2 was held from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and paper 1 was from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Candidates must note that these are the unofficial CTET answer keys, that has been released by some of the eminent coaching institutes.

The official CTET 2018 answer keys are said to be released over the official website,www.ctet.nic.in, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the first week of December 2018.

However, candidates can download the unofficial CTET 2018 Answer key and start estimating their scores with the help of the marking scheme. CTET 2018 is divided into 2 Papers – Paper 1 for Primary Level and Paper 2 for the Elementary level. There were 4 sets to the CTET 2018 question paper 2, similarly, for paper 1 there will be 4 sets.

For every correct response, a candidate can mark themselves +1, whereas for any incorrect response, there will be no negative marking scheme applicable. So, the formula for estimating your score will be:

CTET Score = Number of Correct Responses X 1 mark

As per CTET Paper 2 is concerned, it had 3 compulsory sections, specifically Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I and Language II. Each of these sections had 30 questions for 30 marks. Other than these 3 compulsory sections, a candidate was required to appear for a subject-specific section. Like for a social science teacher, a candidate was to attempt social science paper of 60 questions for 60 marks. And for any other subject teacher, a candidate necessarily needs to attempt either Mathematics or Science or Social Science paper.

CTET Paper 1 sections were – Child Development & Pedagogy, EVS, Language 1 and Language 2, Mathematics. each section had 30 questions.

CTET Paper will have 5 sections, namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, containing equal weightage of 30 marks each. A candidate is required to attempt all the 30 questions asked from each of these sections.

The language medium of the paper was English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Garo, Gujarati, Kannada, Khasi, Malayam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, and Urdu.

The official CTET 2018 Answer key will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) over the official website i.e www.ctet.nic.in. Along with the CTET answer keys, a candidate will also be able to download the CTET question papers. Candidates can get a photocopy of their CTET OMR response sheet by making a payment of Rs. 500, in favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education. Note that this payment will only be accepted in offline i.e DEmand Draft mode.

With the help of CTET 2018 answer key, a candidate will only be able to estimate their chances of qualifying. And not, the exact scores, secured by him or her! To know the exact CTET 2018 marks, a candidate will be required to wait for the CTET 2018 Result declaration date, which is tentatively 6 weeks after the exam has been conducted. To qualify for CTET 2018, a candidate will be required to secure a minimum of 60% in the CTET 2018 entrance exam.
