CSIR Traditional Knowledge Digital Library Unit (TKDL) is recruiting eligible candidates for the 09 vacant posts of Project Associate. Candidates interested in the recruitment can download the advertisement from the official website, csir.res.in. The application process for CSIR TKDL recruitment has already started. Candidates who are eligible can submit their applications online on or before October 17, 2020.
The post of Project Associate is announced for the project titled “Digitization of Indian Systems of Medicine – Ayurveda and Unani, and Yoga”. Engagement of these posts is completely on the temporary and contractual basis. The project will be operative will March 31, 2021. This may or may not extend up to the maximum period of March 31, 2025. Candidates who are recruited as Project Associates are posted at Delhi for the work and related activities.
The examination dates for the recruitment of Project Associates is also out. Those who have applied for Project Associate (Information Technology) has to appear for the written exam on October 21, 2020. For the post of Project Associate (Ayurveda), the written examination is on October 23, 2020. Written test for the remaining posts, Project Associate (Yoga) and Project Associate (Sanskrit) is scheduled for October 27, 2020.
Aspirants have to report at Vigyan Suchna Bhawan, CSIR-NISCAIR Building, 14, Satsang Vihar Marg, New Delhi – 110 067 to take the written exam. The written examination is followed by the interview round. The schedule for the interview will be conveyed to candidates through their registered email address.
The post of Project Associate is open for only eligible candidates who meet the educational as well as the age limit. Those who are applying for Project Associate (Information Technology) must have BE/B Tech in Computer Science or Computer Applications or IT/MCA. To apply for Project Associate (Ayurveda), candidates should possess BAMS (Ayurveda). Master’s degree in Yoda is required to apply for the vacant posts of Project Associate (Yoga). Those who possess a Master’s degree in the Sanskrit language can apply for Project Associate (Sanskrit).

Before applying, we suggest candidates keep the educational qualification certificates and photograph beforehand. While submitting the form, aspirants have to enter the name of the post and the advt number. Applications submitted after the last date are not accepted by CSIR TKDL.
