CSIR, Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) is inviting online applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 7 latest job openings for various project-related posts. The Institute has issued a latest recruitment notification in this regard at the official website ihbt.res.in. The vacancies are for posts such as Project Assistant, Project Associate etc. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to send their applications through prescribed email ID on or before February 04, 2021.
The vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis till the tenure of the project i.e. upto March 31, 2021. The complete vacancy details are indicated in the official notification. One vacancy for the post of Project Assistant and 3 vacancies for the post of Project Associate-I are available under the project “CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiative (Phase-II) (NWP-100)“. In addition, one vacancy for the post of Project Assistant and 02 vacancies for the post of Project Associate-I are available under the project titled “Pilot Implementation of CSIR-Virtual Laboratory For School Student – HCP-0101“.
CSIR IHBT Recruitment 2021 of 07 Project Assistant/Associate Official Notification
Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as specified against corresponding positions. Candidates holding a B.Sc (Biological Science/Medical) qualification are eligible to apply for the post of Project Assistant. Similarly for the post of Project Associate-I, candidates must be holding a PG or M.Sc. qualification in relevant subject/discipline. In addition, it must be noted that the maximum age limit to apply for Project Assistant post is 50 years while for the post of Project Associate-I, the upper age limit is 35 years.
Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of scrutiny of application by a duly constituted Screening Committee. All the shortlisted candidates have to appear in an interview to be conducted through video conferencing. The Institute is going to intimate the date of conducting the interviews separately.
Candidates may note that they have to produce the original documents in support of qualifications and other credentials when asked by the Institute. Information provided through the application form is to be verified. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying degree examinations but are waiting for results are not eligible to apply for the recruitment.

Candidates have to apply through separate applications if they intend to apply for multiple posts.
