CSIR Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (CSIR-AMPRI) is inviting applications to fill up 08 vacancies on a temporary basis for various posts. The vacancies are announced for the post of Project Assistant, Research Associate, Project Associate and JRF. Eligible and intending candidates can apply online through the AMPRI website i.e. ampri.res.in. The application process has commenced on August 24, 2020, and the last date to apply online is August 30, 2020. Selection of eligible applicants will be done on the basis of interviews.
As per the official notification of recruitment, one vacancy each is available for all the advertised posts. The posts are available in various projects such as Project Assistant-II (SSP-055), Project Assistant I (SSP-055), Research Associate I (GAP-0097), Project Assistant 01 (GAP-0097), Research Associate – I (GAP-0095), Project Associate I (GAP-0098) and JRF (PA-II) in SERB-DST project. Candidates are to be appointed for a temporary period of one year for the vacancies under project codes SSP-055, GAP-0097 and SERB-DST. Candidates are appointed for a period of 06 months under project code GAP-0095. The contract period for posts under project code GAP-0098 is valid up to May, 2021.
Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility in order to apply for any post. For the post of Project Assistant, a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. degree in a relevant field is required to apply. Candidates willing to apply for the post of Research Associate must have a PhD degree in a relevant field. Those who wish to apply for the post of Project Associate must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant field. Candidates willing to apply for the post of JRF must have an M.Sc. degree in a relevant field. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for the complete eligibility conditions. Details of the required eligibility conditions in terms of minimum educational qualification as well as the specified age limit are indicated.
All appointed candidates are to be paid monthly consolidated stipend depending upon the post. The maximum stipend is Rs 47000+HRA for the post of Research Associate in GAP-0095 while the lowest monthly stipend is Rs 20000+HRA for the posts of Project Assistant in GAP-0097 and SSP-055. Candidates will not be entitled to any other incentives. The maximum duration of engagement is 05 years. In case, a large number of candidates apply for the recruitment, then the institute will conduct an initial screening.
