The Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company Limited, Raipur is inviting applications for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). A total of 707 vacancies are going to be filled via this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can start applying online from September 29, 2021 onwards. The pay matrix for Junior Engineer (including backlog) is between Rs 35,300 to Rs 1,12,400. Under the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), a total of 193 JE vacancies are available. The Electrical branch has 173 vacancies while Computer Science has 10 vacancies. Likewise, the Information Technology or IT branch also has 10 vacancies. The highest number of openings is for the UR category candidates under the Electrical branch, which is 115.
Moving on, the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) has a total of 62 JE vacancies to be filled. However, two additional JE branches namely Mechanical and Electronics are there. Mechanical has a total of 27 vacancies available while Electrical has 28. On the other hand, IT has only 03 vacancies available. Both Electronics and Computer Science have the same number of vacancies, which is 02. Please note that under CSPGCL, no vacancies are available for the ST category candidates.
Similarly, under the Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL) has a total of 12 vacancies available. However, there are only two JE branches namely Electrical and Electronics. Electrical comprises of 08 vacancies while Electronics has only 04 vacancies. Altogether, CSPDCL, CSPGCL and CSPTCL has a 40 vacancies for JE Civil branch. The category-wise vacancy distribution under this branch is – 28 (UR), 08 (OBC), 02 (SC) and 02 (ST).
Coming to the Data Entry Operator (including backlog), the pay matrix is between Rs 19,800 to Rs 60,800. Under CSPTCL, a total of 50 vacancies are available. The category-wise distribution is – 24 (UR), 12 (OBC), 08 (SC) and 06 (ST). This is followed by a total of 68 vacancies under CSPDCL in the Jugdalpur region. The category-wise vacancy distribution is – 11 (UR), 09 (OBC), 02 (SC) and 46 (ST). In the CSPDCL Ambikapur region, 44 vacancies are out. The category-wise vacancy distribution is – 12 (UR), 06 (OBC), 02 (SC) and 24 (ST).
However, in the Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Durg and Rajnandgaon regions under CSPDCL, a total of 238 DEO vacancies are available. The category-wise vacancy distribution is – 124 (UR), 32 (OBC), 35 (SC) and 47 (ST). Candidates must note that the stipend during the probation period is going to be paid as per the company rules.
