CS Foundation Admit Card 2019 Released; Exam on 28, 29 Dec

Candidates require their 17-digit registration number to download CS Foundation 2019 Admit Card.

Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has issued admit card for CS Foundation December 2019 exams. It has been released on the official website icsi.edu and candidates must carry a print out of it on December 28 and 29, 2019.

To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the “Student” tab, available on the menu bar. Next, the candidates have to click on the “Announcements” section. Here, candidates will get a link for “E-admit card foundation programme (CBE) examination – December 2019”. The link leads to the login portal, and to access it the registration number is required.

The CS Foundation admit card contains details such as candidate’s name, photo, signature, exam timings, etc. In case, any of the details are incorrect, candidates must immediately bring the same to the notice of the concerned authorities.

Furthermore, if the candidate’s photo or signature in the admit card is not clear then the candidate is supposed to affix a photo on it and get it attested by Gazetted Officer/Member of ICSI. In this case, candidates also have to carry one identical photograph, for submitting it to the superintendent of the examination centre.

Along with the admit card candidates also have to carry the student identity card on the exam day. It must be duly attested by the authorized official(s) of the Institute. Candidates who do not have the student ID card can download it from smash.icsi.in.

Reporting time to the test center is, at least, 60 minutes before the test. Firstly, the admit card and the id card is checked at the center and if both are authentic, candidates are allowed to take the exam. Candidates have to sign on the attendance sheet before the exam and towards the end have to get signature on the invigilator on the admit card.

During the exam, candidates are allowed to use their own battery operated, noiseless, cordless, ordinary calculator with not more than 6 functions, 12 digits and 2 memories. Use of programmable, scientific or printing model calculators is strictly prohibited by ICSI.

The CS Foundation paper consists of 50 MCQ type questions of 2 marks each in each paper. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes for both the papers, on each day. Candidates who are allowed exemption will get 45 minutes extra.

CS Foundation exam is the basic step to become Company Secretary (CS) in India. The exam is conducted twice a year, first.y in July and then in December. Class 12th pass out students can apply for admission in CS Foundation Programme.
