Osmania University, Hyderabad is all set to conduct the Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2021 from September 18, 2021, onwards. Although the authorities have not announced the official date for releasing the admit cards yet, it is expected that the same will be available online at least four to seven days before the first date of the CPGET 2021 examination.
As per the information brochure for CPGET 2021, the hall tickets along with the necessary information regarding the examination will be available on the websites namely osmania.ac.in, tscpget.com, ouadmissions.com, cpget.tsche.ac.in. The brochure also states that candidates will not receive any personal intimation regarding the availability of admit cards. However, later in the same brochure, it has been stated that the admit cards will be released seven days prior to the commencement of the examination.
Thus, keeping in mind the examination commencement date, it can be said that admit cards for CPGET 2021 will be available between September 11, 2021, and September 14, 2021. Once the admit cards for the examination are available, candidates have to download the same and also affix the latest passport size photograph in the provided space. Note that the photograph must be the same as the one which was uploaded during the online application. It must also be self-attested. Candidates who will not carry their hall tickets will not be allowed entry into the examination hall.
Last year in 2020, for downloading the CPGET admit cards, candidates had to enter their registration number, date of birth and select the exam paper for the entrance test to download the admit cards. Thus, it is expected that this year also, students have to use the same details while downloading the admit cards.
The CPGET 2021, starting from September 18, 2021, is being conducted by Osmania University to admit students to various postgraduate, postgraduate diploma courses and five-year integrated programmes that are offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological universities. A total of 12 test zones have been selected to conduct the upcoming exam.
The duration of the entrance tests for all subjects will be for 90 minutes. It will be conducted for a total of 50 courses. However, there will be no entrance exam for MA in Kannada, Marathi and Persian. Question papers for each subject will comprise 100 MCQs each carrying 01 marks. CPGET 2021 will consist of any 3 to 4 varieties of objective type items. These items can be analogies, classification, matching, etc. Note that the questions/items will be framed as per the syllabus of the entrance test.
