Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up 13 latest contractual vacancies. The vacancies are for various project-related posts such as Project Assistant and Project Fellow. The vacancies are available under various sponsored projects for a limited time duration depending on the post. There are vacancies for the posts of Project Assistant-I, Project Fellow-I, and Project Fellow-II. For the Project Assistant post, the duration of employment is 2 years while for all the other posts, the duration of employment is 1 year only.
CMTI Recruitment 2021 For Project Assistant & Project Fellow Detailed Advertisement
Candidates appointed to the vacant posts are entitled to receive fixed monthly stipend as per provisions of the CMTI. For Project Assistant post, the fixed monthly stipend is Rs 18000. On the other hand, the fixed monthly stipend for various Project Fellow posts is in the range of Rs 25000 to 32000 depending on the post.
Candidates intending to apply for this recruitment must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions before sending their applications to the CMTI. For example, a first class ITI in Electrical engineering along with 2 years or more of relevant experience is required to apply for the post of Project Assistant. Similarly, candidates must have a first class BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in relevant disciplines as well as the minimum work experience specified in order to apply for respective posts of Project Fellow.
It may be noted that only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Selection of the eligible applicants is to be done on the basis of written examination/interview. Details of the selection tests are to be intimated by the Institute in due course of time.
Candidates may note that no TA/DA are to be paid by the CMTI for attending the selection tests. In addition, it must also be noted that the posts are temporary in nature and candidates cannot claim for absorption into the organisation after the completion of the employment contract. Candidates are not entitled to receive any other benefit except the monthly consolidated salary. Leave encashments are not permitted and candidates will be entitled to get one day of leave for each month completed.
