The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit card of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) by the fourth week of March 2022. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 09, from 3 to 6 PM, across various centers in the country. The correction window of the application form is open till today evening for the candidates to make edits if necessary. Therefore, the admit card will be released soon after the correction process is completed. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download the admit card from the official website of CMAT – cmat.nta.nic.in, by using the application number and password/date of birth.
Past 5 Year Trends in Admit Card Release
CMAT is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by NTA. For the past few years, NTA has been conducting the exam under prevailing circumstances that had caused unprecedented delays, more specifically in 2020. However, now that the situation seems favorable, all exam-related events are to be conducted timely.
Recently, NTA had released the CMAT exam date. Candidates are now wondering as to when the admit cards for the same would be issued. Analyzing the past 5 years’ trends followed by NTA in releasing the admit card will be helpful to estimate the time of release this year. The below table points out the pattern of the last 5 years.

Looking at the table, it is clear that the NTA does not follow a clear pattern in releasing the admit card of the CMAT examination. In 2021, the admit card was released just a week prior to the examination date whereas, in 2020 and 2019, it was released almost one month prior to the examination. As the examination this year is scheduled to be held on April 09, 2022, it can be speculated that the admit card will be released anytime around March 25-27.

CMAT Exam Day Guidelines
The examination is scheduled to be conducted in an online mode on April 09, 2022, in a single shift from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Candidates should carry along with them a copy of the admit card(color printout preferred) as well as valid ID proof such as aadhar card, passport, driving license, voter ID, PAN card, etc. on the day of the examination.
They should also bring one passport size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the examination center. The photograph should be the same as that attached in the online application form. PwD certificate should be presented by those candidates seeking relaxations under the category.
